The 1st Annual "Magic Lantern International Movie Festival" will take place this year, August 3rd through August 5th, 2007 at the Waverly Opera House in downtown Waverly, New York. We are proud to screen work from movie makers throughout the world. So, if you are a fan of new cinema, join us for three days of adventure! The contest is open to all movie makers everywhere. Movies will be accepted with one, five, or twenty minute time limits.

Movies featured will be by student, amateur, independent, and professional movie makers, and will be chosen from the categories of: comedy, story, mystery, travel, music video, drama, documentary, tragedy, instructional, nature, animation, experimental, event, family, or other specification.
